It’s certainly been awhile since I’ve felt like turning my computer on…

Anyway, I have recently gotten very great news. They were wrong about my uncle initially, the cancer isn’t in his brain and he has somehow dodged a second bullet because he only has a single cell of the type of cancer he’s got. Basically some chemo and radiation treatments and he’s going to be fine.

Thanks to everyone who was concerned and sent good vibes and everything our way.

So I hadn’t really been online the past week or so…

My Uncle was diagnosed with Small Cell Lung Cancer and just Thursday they found that it had spread to his brain.

They did some more scans and tests and stuff to find out what they can do/what they’re going to do/his chances of survival and all that and he’ll find out at his next appointment, I think.

I spent some time with some family this weekend and that’s helped me out and I felt good enough to get online and stuff today, though I’m really tired.

I saw my Uncle today and he looks good, all things considered. The future is just very uncertain right now.

Kids are putting Drano, tin foil, and a little water in plastic drink bottles
and capping it up - leaving it on lawns, in mail boxes, in gardens, on
driveways etc. just waiting for you to pick it up intending to put it in the
rubbish, but you’ll never make it!!!
If the bottle is picked up, and the bottle is shaken even just a little - in
about 30 seconds or less it builds up enough gas which then explodes with
enough force to remove some your extremities. The liquid that comes out is
boiling hot as well.

Don’t pick up any plastic bottles that may be lying in your yards or in the
gutter, etc.

Pay attention to this. A plastic bottle with a cap. A little Drano. A little
water. A small piece of foil.
Disturb it by moving it; and BOOM!!

No fingers left and other serious effects to your face, eyes, etc.

Please ensure that everyone that may not have email access are also informed
of this.
